If you are searching for a Kwikpic alternative, you probably already know how face recognition photo sharing works and why guests like it. The question is whether a different tool fits your studio better: the way it handles photo quality, how it counts what you pay for, how photos get from your camera to guests during the wedding, and whether it does anything beyond delivery.
We make RAIMO, so read this with that in mind. We have tried to be straight about what Kwikpic does well, and every statement about Kwikpic below links to Kwikpic's own help pages as we read them in September 2026. Features and prices change, so confirm anything important with Kwikpic directly.
What Kwikpic does well
It is worth starting here, because Kwikpic is popular for good reasons.
- Established face recognition delivery. Guests find their photos from a selfie, and Kwikpic says face recognition is available on every plan, including free, in its introduction to Kwikpic.
- Apps everywhere. It has iOS and Android apps and a web version, and its help pages describe offline viewing of photos a user has already browsed.
- A desktop uploader. Its Windows and Mac app can sync a folder to a group as new photos arrive, so a tethered camera's photos go up during the event, as described on its instant upload help page.
- Albums and branding. The helpdesk lists digital albums and flipbooks, watermarking, branding, download controls and analytics.
- A free plan to start. Useful for trying it on a small event.
If those cover everything you need, Kwikpic may be the right tool, and switching for the sake of it is rarely worth the effort.
Why studios look for a Kwikpic alternative
The reasons we hear from photographers usually fall into three groups.
- Photo quality and how it is counted. Kwikpic's uploads help page says photos upload at a standard 2160 pixels by default. A high-resolution option exists, and each high-resolution photo counts as 2.5 photo units against your plan. Keeping the full-sized original is described as a paid add-on you arrange with their team. For studios whose clients expect print-quality files from the gallery, that changes the maths.
- Pricing by photo count. Kwikpic's photographer plans range from ₹3,490 to ₹29,990 a year, sized by number of photos, according to its helpdesk. A heavy wedding season can push a studio up a tier.
- Wanting one place for the studio. Many studios run delivery in one app, albums in another, invitations with a third vendor, their website somewhere else and leads in a notebook or WhatsApp. Some want to bring that together.
How RAIMO is different
RAIMO covers the same core idea, guests finding their photos with a selfie, and then differs in a few specific ways.
Original quality by default
RAIMO stores the file you upload as it is, with no recompression. Guests browse thumbnails and, by default, download that file. You do not pay extra per photo for full resolution; what you pay for is storage, and each Event pass includes storage for that wedding (5 GB on Event Starter, 25 GB on Event Pro, 100 GB on Event Max). If you want guests to receive only smaller copies, Event Pro lets you switch a wedding to web-size downloads, or switch downloads off.
Pricing per wedding
Delivery is sold as a pass for one wedding: Event Starter at ₹499, Event Pro at ₹999 and Event Max at ₹1,999. A pass does not expire, so guests keep their link. Studios with many weddings a month can use a bundle instead: RAIMO One at ₹2,999 a month covers 10 active weddings on Event Pro, plus a website, CRM and album passes. Your first event is free.
Four ways to deliver live from a DSLR
Beyond the laptop uploader, RAIMO supports a phone on the camera's WiFi using the RAIMO Android app's Auto Sync, direct FTP from newer Canon, Nikon and Sony bodies that can push photos themselves, and a small venue box built on a Raspberry Pi or an old laptop that starts uploading again on its own after a power cut. All four use one capture token per wedding, never your login password. We compare them in live photo delivery from a DSLR at weddings. Live capture is part of Event Pro and above.
A website and CRM in the same login
On Studio plans, RAIMO includes a studio website with templates and your own domain, a blog, packages and a date-availability calendar, and a CRM that collects enquiries from the site into leads and bookings, with instalments and payment tracking. Team members get their own logins with the permissions you choose. See photography studio management software in India for what that covers.
More services to sell per wedding
Digital albums and 3D flipbooks with couple approval before print, client photo selection with Lightroom XMP export, wedding e-invitations with RSVP and gate passes, and guest reels with your logo are all in the same place as delivery.
Where Kwikpic may still suit you better
Being honest about this saves everyone time.
- If your guests prefer a dedicated app with offline viewing, Kwikpic's native apps are a strength. RAIMO is browser-based for guests, by design, so there is nothing to install.
- If you need watermarks on event galleries today, check the current state: event gallery watermarking is not live on RAIMO yet (album and selection watermarks are).
- If you only need delivery and already have a website and CRM you like, a delivery-focused tool is simpler.
How to switch without disrupting a season
- Do not move old weddings. Leave finished weddings where they are; guests already have those links.
- Start with one upcoming wedding. Use RAIMO's free first event on a smaller function, such as a mehendi or a reception.
- Test your live setup at home first. Connect your camera the way you will at the venue and check photos arrive before the wedding day.
- Print the new QR code on the welcome board and table cards, and tell the family the link will stay the same from the first function to the final edited set.

What is the best Kwikpic alternative for wedding photographers in India?
It depends on why you are switching. If you want original-quality downloads by default, per-wedding pricing, DSLR live delivery in several ways and a website and CRM in the same login, RAIMO is built for that. Other tools focus on storage-based pricing or WhatsApp delivery.
Does RAIMO compress photos like other sharing apps?
No. RAIMO keeps the files you upload as they are, and by default guests download those files. You can choose web-size downloads for a wedding with Event Pro if you prefer.
Can I move my existing Kwikpic galleries to RAIMO?
We suggest leaving finished weddings where they are, since guests already have those links, and starting new weddings on RAIMO. You can upload photos from your camera cards, your phone or, on Event Max, Google Drive.
Do guests need an app with RAIMO?
No. Guests scan a QR code or open a link in their browser and take a selfie. There is nothing to install.
Is there a free trial?
Every new studio gets its first event free on Event Starter, plus a trial of Studio Basic. No card is needed to sign up.
