Instant photo delivery, while the sangeet is still going
The photographs are worth the most on the night they are taken. Live capture publishes while you are still shooting, so guests are finding themselves during the sangeet instead of three weeks later — and the couple sees you working.
How it works
Shoot and publish during the function
Photos reach guests while the event is still going, rather than after the edit.
Everything arrives through one pipeline
Camera cards, phones and Google Drive all land in the ingestion hub, where you can see what is uploaded, what is indexed and what is still waiting.
Faces index as the photos land
A guest who scans mid-event gets what has been published so far, and more appears as you shoot.
The rest follows after the edit
The same gallery takes the edited set later, so guests do not get a second link.
What is different here
Resumable, so a big upload survives a bad venue line
Transfers resume instead of starting from zero. A film restarted from the beginning burns the studio’s own Drive quota, which is measured and real — we fixed it by never re-fetching from scratch.
You can see what is actually done
The hub distinguishes uploaded from indexed from waiting. "It is uploading" and "guests can find it" are different sentences, and the screen says which one is true.
The studio is told when a long job finishes
A film being ready, a film having stopped, or a wedding’s archive being whole all push a notification. You are not refreshing a page at midnight.
Questions studios ask
- Can guests see photos during the wedding itself?
- Yes. Live capture publishes as you shoot, so guests who scan during the sangeet see what has been published so far, and more appears as you keep shooting.
- What happens if the venue internet drops mid-upload?
- Transfers resume rather than restarting. That matters beyond convenience: restarting a large file from zero spends the studio’s own Google Drive download quota, which we measured costing a studio three days of access.
- Can I deliver straight from a camera card?
- Yes. Camera cards, phones and a Google Drive folder all feed the same ingestion pipeline.
- Do I have to send a second link for the edited photos?
- No. The edited set goes into the same gallery, so the link you gave guests on the night keeps working.
